Jacinda Barrett was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia on August 2, 1972. She is an American- Australian model turned actress with 5’ 10” of height. She was chosen as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the world by “People” magazine in 1997. She pursued her study at ‘Kenmore State high School’, later joined ‘British American Drama Academy in Oxford’ to learn dramatic art and had extensive improvisation training at Groundings in Los Angles.
Jacinda Barrett was married with American actor Gabriel Macht on December 29, 2004 and couple had their first daughter named Satine Anais Geraldine Macht, on August 20, 2007. She was engaged with American comedian Chris Hardwick, host of MTV’s ‘Signed Out’.
Jacinda Barrett started her model career through Europe at the age of 17 after she won the annual ‘Dolly Covergirl Contest in Australia in 1988 while she was attending her high school. It is believed that her accent facilitated her various acting roles in USA. She was first introduced to American audiences through MTV’s ‘The Real World’ in 1992 as a cast member which was set in London. Her film debut was ‘Camfire Tales’ in 1997 by Heather Wallace. She continued her career in acting with films and TV series alongside. Among several films, she could build her niche in Hollywood with the films like Ladder 49 (2004) by Linda Morrison which was tribute to her airport firefighter father, Poseidon (2006) by Maggie James, The Last Kiss (2006) among others.
