American film and television actor Ethan Suplee was born on 25 May 1976, in Manhattan, New York, USA. He was the son of Debbie and Bill Suplee. His parents were actors who met while performing summer stock and appeared on Broadway.
Born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, Suplee landed his first role at the age of 16 on the popular television series Boy Meets World (1993). He had a recurring role as the reluctant bully "Frankie" for three seasons. He made a powerful guest-starring appearance on NBC's Third Watch (1999) as a disturbed young man who filmed a video journal about his obsession with a girl, most recently for television. Ethan Suplee has established himself over the past decade as an actor of considerable talent and accomplishment. His diverse and eclectic resume ranges from hilarious roles in such comedies as Mallrats (1995) and Without a Paddle (2004) to hauntingly dramatic performances in intense feature films such as American History X (1998), Blow (2001) and Cold Mountain (2003). His breakthrough performance as a young footballer in Disney's Remember the Titans (2000) with Denzel Washington garnered him critical acclaim and led to another role opposite Washington in director Nick Cassavetes' thriller, John Q (2002).
Smith himself recast both Suplee and Lee in later films Chasing Amy and Dogma. They both make cameos in Clerks II. Suplee also had a recurring role as Frankie "The Enforcer" Stechino in Boy Meets World at the same time as the filming of Mallrats, from 1994 to 1998. Suplee's dramatic performances include the roles of the ruthless Nazi skinhead Seth in American History X, a man who rapes a clown in Vulgar, Ashton Kutcher's Goth college roommate "Thumper" in The Butterfly Effect, football player Louie Lastik in 1970s Virginia in Remember the Titans, Johnny Depp's buddy and initial drug-dealing partner Tuna in Blow, and the simpleminded Pangle in Cold Mountain. Suplee also had a cameo role in the HBO TV series Entourage in the fictional movie Queens Boulevard.
Suplee is also good friends with Stza of Star Fucking Hipsters and he agreed to appear in their music video for the song "3000 Miles Away" from their album Never Rest in Peace.
Talking about his relationship history, Suplee and his wife, Brandy Lewis, have two daughters, Frances Clementine, born 2005, and Billie Grace, born 2007, and Lewis has two daughters, Bella, born 1997, and Lily, born 1998, from a previous relationship.
Suplee was featured on TV's TMZ.com with a recent weight loss of 200+ pounds in March 2011. He was quoted as crediting bicycling for his fit and fine body. Standing at a significant height of six feet and one inch and having a pleasant personality, he is an American citizen and is of white ethnicity. By religion, he is a Scientologist. He has an estimated net worth of 16 million dollars and there is yet to come as his career has not ended yet.
He has gone shirtless on many occasions and his pictures are available abundantly on various web galleries, and are mostly viewed by young women. Best of luck to him for continuing his legacy in the acting career he has devoted deeply into.
