News and Documentary Emmy Award winner Campbell Brown was born on 14th of June, 1968. She was born as Alma Dale Campbell Brown in Ferriday, Louisiana of the United States of America. She was born to James H. Brown Jr., who was former Louisiana Democratic State Senator and Secretary of State, and Dale Campbell. She holds American nationality and s of white ethnicity.

Early Life and Education

Brown was raised in upper middle class family. She grew up in the Roman Catholic background. She began her formal education from the Trinity Episcopal Day School. As she was grown up in the family who were involved in hunting and cooking, big parties were normal for her. Madeira School expelled her for sneaking off campus for a party. She also attended Louisiana State University. She then graduated in Political Science from Regis University. 


Brown started her career as English teacher in Czechoslovakia along with the completion of her graduation.

Campbell Brown career in journalism was firstly initiated as a local news reporter at KSNT-TV. She later worked at WWBT-TV, WBAL-TV and WRC-TV. Brown joined NBC News in 1996 then worked as a White House Correspondent. During the 2000 U.S. presidential election coverage, she reported George W. Bush, the Republican National Convention and Republican party primary elections. She was also assigned to The Pentagon and covered Kosovo war. She has served as co-anchor of the NBC news program Weekend Today for four years starting from 2003. After serving for decade in NBC, she joined CNN as the co-anchor of the show CNN Election Center. The show was later renamed as Campbell Brown: No Bias, No Bull at the end of 2008. She hosted this show for two years in which she also had a controversial interview with Tucker Bounds.  

Campbell Brown career turned to writer when she began writing for The New York Times form 2010 along with other publications such as The Wall Street Journal and The Daily Beast.

She is also popular for her work as an education reform and school choice activist in which she is involving since 2013. She also established herself as a founder of the non-profit organization, Partnership for Educational Justice at New York. The organization aims to help students, families and communities by advocating for public school reform through union and legal action. She was also a co-founder of The 74, which was established in July 2015. The 74 is a non-profit and non-partisan news site that covers education in America. Brown has some twist and turns in her love life and marriage. Campbell Brown married twice in her life. She was first married to Peregrine Roberts. Her first marriage didn’t last  long which ended in a divorce. Campbell Brown married to another guy Dan Senor as Campbell Brown husband, who is known as a columnist and a writer from United States. Campbell Brown married Senor on 2nd of April 2006, who were engaged five months before. Campbell Brown husband, Dan Senor has also established himself as a political adviser. Campbell Brown and her husband have together two child. Their first son is Eli James born on 18th of December and second child is Asher Liam Senor born on 6th April, 2009.  Brown with her husband and children is living with much more love and she is very happy and satisfied.
