Amy Joanne Robach is an American television journalist and correspondent for ABC News. Previously, she was a national correspondent for NBC News, co-host of the Saturday edition of NBC's Today and anchor on MSNBC. She rotates with 20/20 anchor Elizabeth Vargas, if Robin Roberts is on personal time or on assignment.

Robach made the announcement about switching networks on May 19, 2012. Robach appears on ABC's Good Morning America program as a correspondent.

Talking about Amy’s early life, she spent childhood partially in St Louis, Missouri, lived in Georgia for nine years and shifted to South Carolina, Washington, D.C. She is the cousin of ex- Nashville star nominee, Matt Lindahl and her aunt Lori Lindahl who owns Brook wood’s stupendous theatre series.

She previously worked at WTTG in Washington, D.C., and came to NBC News in 2003 where she spent four years, including a stint anchoring two hours in the morning. She was named co-anchor of Weekend Today in July 2007. Her last day on "Weekend Today" was May 19, 2012. She also filled in on Countdown with Keith Olbermann and Morning Joe. She is now a contributing correspondent for Good Morning America on ABC and a frequent substitute for Robin Roberts.

While being involved with WTTG-TV she broadcasted the live news including consequences of 9/11 and the confrontation occurred in Iraq. It was obvious that her allegiance towards her work impressed the NBC operators and soon she was correlated with MSNBC covering the chief news events such as presidential election, hostilities in Iraq, tornado and hurricane Katrina and many more. She was a newscaster of Today and Weekend Today show. Later on in May 19, 2012 she decided to change the networks and joined ABC news channel where she appears in Good Morning America as a reporter and substitute anchor despite the fact that Robin Roberts is on medical leave.

Robach was married to Tim McIntosh until divorcing in 2008; they have two daughters.

Robach became engaged to former Melrose Place star Andrew Shue in September 2009, after meeting him at a book party the prior April. They were married on Robach's 37th birthday, February 6, 2010, at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, adjacent to the Hudson River. Shue has three sons from a prior marriage.
