Abigail Diane Gustafson (born May 4, 1985), better known as Abigail Hawk, is an American actress and director. Having started her career while still in college by playing Samantha Bonner in the 1995 TV series Reality Check, she is most well-known for her recurring role of Detective Abigail Baker in the CBS drama series Blue Bloods. The series premiered in September 24, 2010, and it has continued till the eighth season as of 2018.
Abigail made her directorial debut in 2015 as she directed The Peter Austin Noto Show. She played the role of Ellie in Domenica Cameron-Scorsese's 2017 movie Almost Paris. For this role, she won the "Best Actress" at the Golden Door Film Festival.
Abigail Hawk was born on May 4, 1985, in Marietta, Georgia. Her parents are Robert Gustafson and Diane Gustafson. She went to North Springs Carter School of Arts and Sciences in Georgia. To pursue her dreams of becoming an actor, she joined University of Maryland, College Park and earned a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts in Theatre in 2004.
While Abigail was still in school, she appeared in the 1995 TV series Reality Check. After that, she took a 12-year hiatus until she appeared in the movie Across the Universe(2007). She followed it up with cameos in various movies and TV series like The Unidentified (2008), The Tragedy of Maria Macabre (2010) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2006).
Abigail finally got her big break in 2010 when she was cast as Detective Abigail Baker in the CBS drama series Blue Bloods. She was introduced in the closing credits of the first episode of the very first season. She is a recurring character in the series and still appears in its eighth season.
Abigail also appeared in multiple other TV series over the years like Body of Proof (2011), Are We There Yet? ( 2012) and The Jim Gaffigan Show (2015), as well as movies like a Christmas in Vermont (2016) and Rich Boy, Rich Girl (2017), Almost Paris (2016) . The latter won her the Best Actress award at the 2017 Golden Door Film Festival.
In 2015, Abigail made her directorial debut in the TV series The Peter Austin Noto Show. She directed three episodes of the third season and was the segment director for three more episodes. In October 2017, Abigail was a guest of honor at the Spring Gala of the HeartShare Human Series of New York, where she received the Linda Dano Award.

Abigail Hawk is a very private person likes to keep her things to herself. But we do know that she is married to Bryan Spies. Her husband was an employee at Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery and is currently a medic at the Fire Department City of New York. They got engaged after dating for several months in March 2009 and married a month later. The wedding ceremony took place in Roswell and the reception was held in Davenport.
